Honoring Mary Wilkins: A Community Tribute

About the Project
Mary Wilkins was a beloved member of our community, known for her warmth and kindness. Most days she made the walk from her home at 174 Grove Street to sit on the northeast bench outside the Poultney Town Office, making it a familiar and welcoming spot for many. To honor her memory, we are installing a memorial plaque on her favorite benchβa lasting tribute to her presence in our town.
This community-led effort invites friends, neighbors, and all who knew Mary to take part by contributing just $1 toward the plaque and participating in a Memorial Walk & Dedication Event.
